The two time Olympic medalist P.V Sindhu is gearing up for her third Olympic appearance. The 29 year old shuttler holds the record as the first Indian Women to have two olympic medals. A silver medal at Rio de Janeiro 2016 Games and a bronze at Tokyo 2020. Her agility, precision, and indomitable spirit make her a strong contender. Furthermore, Sindhu etched her name in history as the inaugural Indian woman to seize gold at the BWF World Championships in 2019.

Bajrang Punia – Wrestling

Bajrang Punia, renowned as one of India’s premier wrestlers, aims to surpass his bronze medal achievement from Tokyo 2020. Partaking in the 65kg freestyle classification, Punia’s unwavering resolve and tactical supremacy position him as a pivotal contender for India in the wrestling competitions at the Paris Olympics. 

Mirabai Chanu – Weightlifting

Mirabai Chanu, the silver medalist from the Tokyo Olympics, is setting her sights on claiming gold at the Paris Olympics 2024. Despite grappling with injuries post her Tokyo triumph, Chanu booked her berth for the 2024 Olympics by clinching the third position in the women’s 49kg Group B category at the IWF World Cup in Thailand earlier this year. A recipient of the 2019 World Championship gold and the 2022 silver, she stands as the solitary Indian weightlifter to qualify for the Paris Olympics 2024. This marks Chanu’s third Olympic participation, and armed with her extensive expertise, she aspires to augment her medal array with another accolade. Her recent performances have shown that she is in peak condition, and she will be aiming for the top spot on the podium in Paris.

Rani Rampal – Hockey

The Indian women’s hockey team, led by the inspirational Rani Rampal, is eyeing glory in Paris. After a historic fourth-place finish in Tokyo, the team has shown tremendous growth and resilience. Rani’s leadership and skills on the field have been crucial to the team’s success. She was a member of the Indian Hockey Team when the squad secured a berth in the 2016 Rio Olympics after a lapse of 36 years. Steering the team, India advanced to the semifinals in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for the first time in the annals of India following the incorporation of Women’s hockey in the Olympics.

Atanu Das – Archery

Atanu Das, an archery champion was born on 5 April 1992 in Baranagar, West Bengal, India. He started archery practices at the age of 14 under the coaching of Mithu Da, and he made his international debut in 2008. Das won a bronze medal along with Deepika Kumari in 2013. With several international accolades under his belt, Das is focused on securing a medal and bringing glory to Indian archery.
